【摘要】:Thispracticedescribesaprocedureformeasuringthecolorappearanceofretroreflectorsasseenundernighttimeconditionsofilluminationandviewing.CIEStandardSourceAhasbeenchosentorepresentatungstenautomobileheadlamp.Althoughthegeometrymustbespecifiedbytheuserofthispractice,itwill,ingeneral,correspondtotherelationshipbetweenthevehicleheadlamp,theretroreflector,andthevehicledriver’eyes.Thus,thechromaticitycoordinatesdeterminedbytheproceduresinthispracticedescribenumericallythenighttimeappearanceoftheretroreflector.51.1Thispracticedescribestheinstrumentaldeterminationofretroreflectedchromaticitycoordinatesofretro-reflectors.Itincludesthetechniquesusedinaphotometricrangetomeasureretroreflected(nighttime)chromaticitywitheitheratelecolorimeterortelespectroradiometer.1.2Thispracticecoversthegeneralmeasurementprocedures.AdditionalrequirementsforspecifictestsandspecificationsaredescribedinSection7.1.3ThedescriptionofthegeometryusedinthenighttimecolorimetryofretroreflectorsisdescribedinPracticeE808andthemethodsforcalculationofchromaticityarecontainedinTestMethodE308.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
